THE BIRTH OF A NATION
If you're craving something a little bit eye-opening this weekend, this American period drama is for you. The film, directed and starring Nate Parker, follows the story of an enslaved man who leads a slave rebellion in the 1800's after witnessing shocking atrocities. His passionate journey to freedom is one that will stay with you.
HACKSAW RIDGE
Directed by Mel Gibson, this extraordinary true story follows Desmond Doss, a man who saved 75 men without carrying any weapons during Okinawa - the bloodiest battle of WWII. The action-packed film also stars Gibson's son, Milo, alongside a star-studded cast.

UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS
In the fifth installment in the Underworld franchise, Kate Beckinsale is back in her role as Selene, the vampire 'death dealer' who fends off brutal attacks from the antagonist Lycan clan. For sci-fi and action lovers, this newly released film will tickle your fancy this weekend.
TROLLS
For something a little lighter, embrace your inner child and join your kids for an adventure they'll want to watch again and again. The story follows Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious, curmudgeonly Branch who set off on a journey to rescue her friends.
FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Mentioned several times throughout the Harry Potter series, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is a textbook read by students. After the series ended, JK Rowling decided to pen the story of how the book was formed seventy years before Harry Potter attends Hogwarts school, following the exciting story of New York's secret community of witches and wizards.
