Marvel Comic and Film Exhibition on at Brisbane

BRISBANE LAUNCHES FIRST MAJOR MARVEL EXHIBITION
If you live and breathe superhero films, you’re probably heard about the huge Marvel exhibition taking place up north.
Exclusive to Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art, the action-packed display delves inside the stories behind Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye. Not to mention, a handful of their respective allies and enemies.
Focusing specifically on the cinematic adaptions of the popular comic book series, the exhibition features over 500 artworks from Marvel's private archives. Attendees can expect to see infamous film objects first-hand with Thor's hammer, Captain America's shield and Iron Man's armour promising to make an appearance.
Die-hard fans will be thrilled with the original comic books on display, alongside original costumes, props, and never-before-seen film set pieces from the upcoming Thor film. The exhibition will also explain in detail the realms of Ant‑Man, Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy.
The exhibition will be open Wednesdays and Fridays from now until 3 September. For more information visit the Gallery of Modern Art website.
